Bruinisse Marina is the perfect base for avid anglers, divers and ornithologists to head off in pursuit of their particular interest. Grevelingenmeer is Europe's largest saltwater lake with several newly formed sandbanks where Mother Nature has already taken a hold.
Rich Aquatic Life
Divers can enjoy the lake's rich aquatic life in its crystal-clear waters, including cuttlefish, sting winkles, old world silversides, brittle stars and sea slugs. Harbour porpoises are also regular and welcome guests in and around the marina!
Unusual Species of Bird
Ornithologists can spot several rare species of bird on and around the Grevelingenmeer lake, including the black-necked grebe whose populations are beginning to flourish here once more, as well as the horned grebe, red-breasted merganser, common goldeneye, brant goose and barnacle goose.
